Scott 'Dae' Sherry

I'm a self-proclaimed singer/songwriter/guitarist that has lived in the Chicagoland area my whole life. My mother played a huge part in first exposing me to the love of music. My grade school teacher (Ms. Constantine rocks!) heightened the musical passion. Around the beginning of my days @ University of Illinois, I began to realize that music runs through my blood. Before graduating from Champaign, I knew it was a lifelong passion of mine - like it or not, making music is something I just have to do. Since those days, I've performed in a wide variety of venues over the last decade under the stage name 'Dae' (pronounced Dee - like 'Daemon'). I've worked with a couple of original bands in the last 5 years, and played a significant role in the writing, development, and recording of several full-length original records with 'forgotten toys' and 'everwonder', as well as a couple of shorter solo releases. I thrive on accomplishment, and am constantly striving to produce more original material. Other areas of my life have had to regularly take a back seat as I relentlessly pursue my musical dreams and goals. Donn and I, heading into the new 'forgotten toys' lineup, share a common passion and enthusiasm that really seems to shine through in the performances of the new tunes we've been working on. I'm looking forward to building something really solid together, as we continue to produce some very cool music.
